Kiesza shows off her rock-hard dancer's body in her video for her brand new international single "No Enemiesz," the third track from Canadian rising star's recently-released debut album "Sound Of A Woman." Kiesza's video for the incredibly catchy "Hideaway" where she danced all around Williamsburg, captured in a single shot. So it's nice to see that she's come up with something less cringe-inducing for for "No Enemiesz" video. In this one, Kiesza's still dancing up a storm, but as she takes off each article of clothing, it morphs into a dancer who joins her in her quest for rhythm domination. She might be Robyn with better dance moves, but it's working.
"No Enemiesz" is a deep house and Eurodance song and it consists of a prominent retro house beat, bleary bass and a bouncy, grinding groove. The song features the euphoric chorus "If we could all fall in love together/ We'd have no enemies" which is convicted with a sense of euphoria while disintegrating into a beat-heavy frenzy. "No Enemiesz" was described as a dance anthem that embraces Kiesza's trademark '90s house vibes. Musically, "No Enemiesz" has been likened to the most successful dance songs of the early-to-mid-1990s, in addition to Robyn and Kleerup's "With Every Heartbeat."
"No Enemiesz" is the song with the most potential to become Kiesza's best-performing single after "Hideaway," so no surprise here that Island Records picked the song as her next single. The fun, dance-heavy clip, directed by Syndrome,  is all about choreography, where the flame-haired songstress takes notes from Janet Jackson's 1986 hit "The Pleasure Principle" visual, transforming an empty loft into her personal dance studio as she dances alone in a mirror and with other members of her crew in her super hipster New York City attic.

The first 30 seconds or so of "No Enemiesz" video looks as if the 25-year-old Canadian singer will be pulling a Robyn and dancing on her own. That is, until she starts to strips off her clothes piece by piece as the song progresses. It sounds a little more scandalous then it lays out, as each clothing item falls to the floor, it transforms into a new live dancing partner for the pop star to bust a move with - it's a cool technique! It all makes for a good time. And, if nothing else, it gives the proper screen time to her wild shoes that they deserve.

Kiesa Rae Ellestad, ask 'Kiesza,' is the kind of artist that knows how to work through the pain. The 25-year-old Canadian spent her teens increasing her threshold as a trained ballerina and after that, she joined the Royal Canadian navy and competed in Miss Universe Canada. It's difficult to believe Kiesza isn't at least 40. Kiesza has packed so much into her life. It hardly seems credible that she is still in her mid-20s. "I guess I didn't stick with many things for too long," smiled the Calgary native.
Ironically, Kiesza has taken a roundabout route to achieving a goal she set for herself at just seven years of age. Youthful musical ambitions were hardly surprising. Kiesza says she was "force-fed" Michael Jackson songs by her mother. Kiesza has now relocated to London and the Michael Jackson influence is evident in her first single after signing to indie label Lokal Legend in 2013, classics-inspired "Hideaway," and the accompanying video. "I love the music scene in Britain. 'Hideaway' is a deep house song but it's regarded as mainstream. That kind of thing doesn't happen in America or back home in Canada."
Inspired by 1990s dance music which her mother would regularly listen to, "Hideaway" is an uptempo deep house song incorporates elements of pop, electropop, dance and old school music over a sparse, 1990s trance-indebted backing track. Production-wise, the song is a combination of a thick vintage Chicago house bassline, a cracking drum machine and an EDM synthesizer. "The song basically pays tribute to '90s dance music so Michael was obviously a megastar during those years. I can also see how Michael could have influenced the video though it wasn't deliberate on my part. I was just intrigued by the idea of filming an entire video in one take."
"Shooting the video seemed impossible," Kiesza tells Rolling Stone. "I had less than three days to learn five completely new dance styles. Almost everyone told me that we couldn't do it. Then to top things off, on the day of the shoot, I broke a rib. I did the video in two takes and couldn't move for an entire month afterward, but I pulled it off." The energetic video is an impressive one-take shot that follows Kiesza as she dances her way through the streets of Brooklyn, switching off dancing partners and styles, while the song's thick bass and cracking drum machine drives the beat forward. After releasing her excellent "Crying for No Reason," UK pop performer Katy B has unveiled another emotional music video for her brand new single, "Still," the third official single from Katy's fantastic sophomore album "Little Red," which launched back in February via Rinse/Columbia. The minimalist clip features the UK singer-songwriter performing the track in a white room surrounded by bright light, sitting a glowing table, and dressed in all white. The star has also released both "5AM" and "Crying For No Reason" from the record, and will kick off a new UK tour in October this year.
Four years ago, a fresh-faced graduate of the famed BRIT School brazenly stamped her name on the music scene with a ferocious dubstep track aptly titled "Katy On A Mission." Since then, Katy has firmly secured herself as a talented negotiator between niche UK dance scenes and pop, Katy has burrowed into the rhythms of adulthood. She's been living on her own for the first time, taking cooking classes, and partying much less in recent months. It seems a bit silly, certainly, to pine for youth at 23, but the transitions are making Katy more emotional than she'd expected.
This epic breakup song finds Katy singing about grieving when a relationship crumbles. She penned the track with Fraser T Smith, who is best known for producing and co-writing Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain." Katy joked to Q magazine: "Writing that track helped me get over an ex, but maybe I shouldn't have done it because now everyone is going to ask me who he is." The moving ballad "Still," is not the most obvious choice, given that another electro slow-burner, "Crying For No Reason," preceded this. Plus, the album is chock full of up-tempo tracks that the world simply must hear. Still, a Katy ballad is worth more than a lot of other folks' output, especially in this fine era of hers.
The clip offers more than just a little red, finds Katy emoting dramatically and looking right anguished, as she and her flame-colored striking red hair are bathed in glorious white light while she's adorned in all white, often in front of a white background. Elsewhere, she thoughtfully sings the song at a dining table, from a couch, in a forest and in a giant empty loft. While Katy's last video paired her against a dark background that eventually exploded with lights and colors, the new "Still" is all stark white and glowing light. They're almost complete opposites, but in both cases Katy's iconic red hair pops against the setting, and her performance is absolutely gripping. Watch it below.
