Christina Aguilera | "Hurt" (Video)

Posted by Kevin Z. Rong Wednesday, October 18, 2006 0 comments

Christina Aguilera was born December 18, 1980 in New York. She has become one of the most successful recording artists of the decade, selling more than 42 million albums worldwide. "Hurt" is a pop ballad song, and the 2nd single from her 3rd studio album, "Back to Basics" in 2006. The song's lyrical content describes how one deals with the loss of a loved one, and it has received praise from pop music critics.
The circus-themed video for "Hurt" was shot over five days in September and the video premiered yesterday on TRL. It is the first video Aguilera has directed. The video begins with the ending instrumental to "Enter the circus"/"Welcome", over which a carnival barker introduces a spectacular circus, and begins in black and white, and ends with a shot of Aguilera sitting on a circus box, singing and crying, before fading out to Aguilera's grief-stricken form on the ground outside the circus tent.
My favorite singles from Aguilera: "Beautiful", "Genie In A Bottle" and "I Turn To You".

Sheryl Crow (born February 11, 1962) was released her 5th studio album 'Wildflower' in 2005, and the album got a new boost in 2006 when the 2nd single was announced as "Always on Your Side" re-recorded with British musician Sting. The collaboration with Sting resulted in a Grammy-nomination for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals.
The music video was directed by Nigel Dick, and from the album Women & Songs: 10th Anniversary Edition. The song was also used as the theme for the 2006 telenovela Desire on the MyTV Network.
I like her singing style. 'Good Is Good', 'If It Makes You Happy' and 'The First Cuts The Deepest' are also my most favorite songs from Sheryl Crow.

"Everytime We Touch" is the debut album from Eurodance band/project Cascada, consisting of DJ Manian, Natalie Horler, and Yanou. The album was released on iTunes for digital download today.
The lead song is featured on their "Everytime We Touch" album and was produced by Manuel Reuter and Yann Pfeiffer and received a positive reception from music critics. It was a huge worldwide dance-hit in early 2006, and won them a World Music Award in 2007, as well as becoming the group's first #1 single. It has gone on to sell over 100,000 copies in the U.S. and went on to sell over 400,000 copies in the UK later on.
"Everytime We Touch" is the one of my all time most favorite songs. Please click here to enjoy it with me.
