British boy band One Direction have unveiled the music video for their latest single "One Thing," the third cut from boys' debut album, "Up All Night," which delivers a toe-tapping, Pink-meets-McFly mash-up with a breezy guitar pop melody. The boyband, who claimed their fame after participating on 'The X Factor' season 7, hop a bus and travel to various spots in town.
The super catchy song finds them declaring to a girl that she's got that 'one thing' they need. The track was written by X Factor vocal coach Kotecha and Swedish songwriters Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub. The same trio also penned One Direction's debut single, "What Makes You Beautiful." The use of holding back notes in rhythm gives us as listeners, a different kind of vibe to usual pop rhythms we are accustomed to hearing from boyband.
It's clear that One Direction had only one thing on their minds when they filmed their first new promo last November, and involved a selected group of fans in the UK after traveling to California and New York for their previous two efforts. The video is a pretty adorable glimpse into the five-piece boy band's typical day, and it transforms the song from a lovesick plea to an oblivious girl into an ode to London town.
During a recent interview on Capital FM, Harry Styles said of the video concept, "It was literally us being idiots around London for a day and we filmed it." Captures a day in the life of the UK X Factor alumni, from cruising around London to serenading screaming girls, the clip opens with the boys in suits, posing on a concrete staircase in front of their scarlet red double decker tour bus, altering their positions and singing to the camera. The boys then ride bus, greet their giggling female fans and treat them to an impromptu performance. Later they ride bikes, weave in and out of sculptures and just generally look like they're having a blast.

Katy Perry shows true vulnerability and sadness in her just-released moody video for "The One That Got Away," the sixth single from "Teenage Dream." The tune was built on a relentless drum beat and a music box melody which highlights Perry's breathy voice. The contemplative clip perfectly encapsulates both the joy of falling in love and the heartbreak of letting go. It travels through time and space and recalls the melancholic story of Perry's one that got away. It's actually pretty powerful stuff.
This sweet mid-tempo dance-pop ballad with sad structure of the lyrics in combination with nostalgia, is about lost love finds Perry and her guy get matching tattoos on her 18th birthday. Later she hears that he's got his tattoo removed, so she knows the relationship is over. "I'm so pleased to select 'The One That Got Away' as my sixth single because this song shows a very different side of me that I haven't shown with my past singles on this record," said Perry. "I think that everyone can relate to this song. I wrote (it) about when you promise someone forever, but you end up not being able to follow through. It's a bittersweet story. Hopefully, the listener learns from hearing it and never has to say they had 'The One' get away."
Directed by Floria Sigismondi, the video opens with Perry, as a nostalgic, elderly woman, returning home from a trip as her husband asks how it went. She then walks up the stairs of her contemporary mansion to reflect on the past. As she settles into her place at home, little things begin to recalls her fiery, sexy love affair with her boyfriend played by Mexican actor Diego Luna. The two share moments and enjoy life and things seem perfect between the pair. However, all good things must come to an end. Eventually, their art splits them up.
As he drives tragically and unexpectedly crashes off a cliff, leaving no chance for reconciliation. The video closes with Perry driving Luna's old car. She eventually goes to the scene of the tragedy as Johnny Cash's "You Are My Sunshine" plays. As an old Perry looks over that cliff, the sun radiating over her, she's visited by the ghost of her one true love and, for a moment, feels the love they once shared. The Disney Channel series "Shake It Up" star Zendaya Coleman looks like she is having a blast in her new music video for "Dig Down Deeper," a strong anthem for Disney's upcoming animated special film "Pixie Hollow Games," will premiere Saturday, November 19 on Disney Channel. The upbeat tempo song empowers kids to achieve their goals through hard work and steadfastness.
"Pixie Hollow Games" follows spirited newcomer Chloe (Brenda Song) as she, along with Tinker Bell and the fairies and sparrow men of Pixie Hollow, gather for the legendary Pixie Hollow Games, a tournament-style sporting event where Chloe is determined to inspire her trailing team to believe in themselves and bring home the championship. The 15-year-old Disney starlet will also providing the voice of the character Fern.
The song is very catchy, the lyrics are positive, and the dancing is cool. The song is about "digging down deeper" and finding out your true colors; who you really are. I really like how positive this song is and I definitely think that we need more music like this one song. With so much negativity in this world, we truly need more positive songs and this is a song that I think most parents would encourage their children to listen to. "Dig Down Deeper" has premiered on November 5 and will be on iTunes today.
Zendaya shows off her great dance moves and rocks out in a school hallway in her new music video for "Dig Down Deeper." "It's very different. I've never done anything like that before, it's very weird to see your voice match up to a different body. But it came out so awesome and I love being in the studio talking," Zendaya told us about becoming a fairy in the games. The video features catchy lyrics and toe tapping beats that will get all of you dancing and having fun.

Having already declared that she can't be tamed, Miley Cyrus now wants to find out "Who Owns My Heart." In a new music video, the 17-year-old pop star continues her transition from clean-cut Disney star to her racy and provocative teenage pop sensation. The sound of music spinning on the dance floor wakes Cyrus up, dragging her to get dressed up and join the crowd. "Who owns my heart?" she asks in the chorus. "Is it love or it is art?" There's no doubt she's recently taken her music to a whole new level, and Cyrus's latest single "Who Owns My Heart" proves it.
Littered with strobing rave beats and sultry, synthesized vocals, "Who Owns My Heart," the synth-heavy number about love on the dance floor is the second European single from her third dance-laden album, "Can't Be Tamed," which is all about girls empowering themselves. It follows in the same footsteps of the title track's video released earlier this year: dark lights, lots of bare Cyrus parts and writhing around on flat surfaces. Cyrus told MTV that the song is "just about freeing yourself from anything you think is holding you back. And I think that's really important, especially for girls, because so many people are told, 'No, you can't do something,' or, 'You need to be this because Mom and Dad say that, teachers say this.'" The club-ready dance tune explores Cyrus's confusion over "who owns her heart," and she clearly isn't holding back her sexy image despite the criticism she's received in the past.

Cyrus is still determined to prove herself as a teenage rebel in her new video, which starts with Cyrus crawling out of bed to get ready for a night out. Cyrus stares at the camera like a panther on the prowl, squirms around in a sequined halter top, looking for her next fleshy feast on the dark dance floor. The bathroom scene is sure to cause flashbacks to Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" video with Cyrus' rollers, hair net, and white wife-beater tank. At the party, when she's not chilling out in the mansion's study, or writhing on a big, wooden table, she's on the dance floor grinding up against others. The video concludes with Cyrus waking up on the same bed as in the video's intro, as if the entire thing was dream. Turns out 17 year olds weren't out all night feeling each other up at the club -- Cyrus just imagined it. "Who Owns My Heart" appears to be her coming of age video. We get it she is getting older and trying to shed the Disney "I am a little girl" image. Anywho, this new song is sure to get all of the Cyrus maniacs moving.
