As a member of the Pussycat Dolls, Jessica Sutta was part of the most successful female dance music group of all time. Now, the talented singer/actress/dance music innovator goes solo. After releasing her first promo ear bleeding buzz-track "I Wanna Be Bad," she inked a record deal with Hollywood Records. Now she's back with her first official solo single, "Show Me." which was described as an explosive shuffle-inspired dance track.
The former Pussycat Doll has just premiered a brand new video on ABC Family Saturday for her infectious new tune, "Show Me," the lead single from her upcoming debut solo album, "Sutta Pop." It will be featured in the ABC Family original movie "Teen Spirit" airs tonight at 7pm! Since bursting on the global pop scene with the Pussycat Dolls in 2003, Sutta built a reputation as a dance music favorite. "As an artist I grow every day," she says. "I'm trying to bring out new sounds and fun lyrics, to be a part of the dance world where people can feel sexy. My music shows who I am inside."
"Show Me" is a pop and dance-influenced tune that has Sutta asking her significant other to prove their love for her. One listen and you'll be ready to turn it out on the dancefloor thanks to the club-worthy beat and catchy hook. The dance-pop jam "Show Me" was written and produced by Busbee, who has also penned tracks for Timbaland, Katy Perry and Lady Antebellum. "Love is not a gimme gimme, if you're really with me, gotta show me, show me, show me, show me love," Sutta sings on the energetic, club-ready single.
The 29-year-old Hawaii-native beauty was always our favorite Pussycat Doll. She's got a playful, naughty side that comes out in her dancing. Sutta establishes her status as the new Queen of the Clubs in the clip for her Hollywood Records debut, ripping off all your favorite music videos and snatching every wig in the game in the process. The ex-Pussycat Doll gives us a little of JLo's "On the Floor," some Britney "Till the World Ends," and even some of Janet's "All Nite (Don't Stop)."

BRIT Award-winning British singer-songwriter James Morrison has just released a music video to support his new single "I Won't Let You Go." The song made its debut on BBC Radio 1 Thursday morning, August 4, and will be released on September 19. lyrically the song is about letting a lover know that no matter what, highlighted via her chorus "if your sky is burning, take my hand and hold it, you don't have to be alone, I won't let you go."
Morrison wrote this mid tempo ballad about Gill, his long term girlfriend and the mother of his daughter, Elsie. The song was released as the lead single from the singer-songwriter's upcoming third album "The Awakening," is due to release on September 26. Talking about the title of next studio installment, Morrison once said, "I want to write about this idea of an awakening of some kind. I've written a song with that title, which I'm really happy with. There's some funky digeridoo going on."
The 26-year-old continued: "Working with producer Bernard Butler on this album has brought a whole new dimension to the songs. For me this album combines influences stemming from my deep love for classic soul. Making the album coincided with some very big changes in my life and I think it’s very evident from the music that this is the album I not only wanted to make but that I actually had to make right now."
The video was shot at Wimbledon Studios, and directed by Phil Griffin. In the clip, the Husky Brit-crooner wakes up to an empty bed, while somewhere in the city, his loved one is lying alone in the middle of the street. When he runs into her, he quickly offers his comfort. The "Broken Strings" crooner lies beside the woman he loves, holds her hands, and promises to stay by her side no matter what happens.

Though it's been five years since his last album, Country artist Steve Holy has returned without missing a step, scoring his fastest climbing single to date with "Love Don't Run," which has jumped to No. 22 on the country charts, the highest charting single since his 2006 No. hit "Brand New Girlfriend." As the Texan singer prepares to release his long-awaited third album of the same name on September 13, the video for the title track was just released last week on CMT and GAC.
Holy wasn't first choice to record the tune. He explained to Nashville Music Scene: " It's kind of crazy because we went into the studio to cut four songs that we had written, and the label pitched 'Love Don't Run' to me. Then it turned out, right after they gave it to me that said I couldn't cut it. They said that Ronnie Dunn has it on hold and he's cutting it. And for whatever reason, it ended up not working out for him and we ended up getting it."
Penned by tunesmiths Joe Leathers, Rachael Thibodeau and Ben Glover. Thibodeau told Taste of Country that she "wanted to write a relationship song about sticking it out when times are tough." Holy discussed the breakaway hit's meaning with straightforward lyrics: "'Love Don't Run' is basically a 3 ½ minute explanation of why love should persevere over anything and everything. And it's not just limited to any one thing or person; I think it's a universal message. At least that's what I got out of it."
Directed by Eric Welch, the video for "Love Don't Run" was filmed at a beautiful Cheekwood mansion in Nashville that was built and owned by the Maxwell House Coffee family. It shows us a sad story of a boy and girl who are fighting to be together, but have no one's approval. In the end love conquers and the two are able to be together. Holy has had a string of hits throughout his career but it seems like every five years or so that he manages to score a big hit on the charts. The 39-year-old has a very rich, emotional voice with newfound maturity, which fits extremely well with this song.

Debuting her latest music video offering, Nicole Scherzinger has premiered the sensual visual compliment to her hot new single "Wet." Not to be confused with Snoop Dogg's similarly titled single, the Stargate-produced club banger will serve as the second single from the singer's long-delayed debut solo album "Killer Love" in the US and the fourth in the UK. It's to follow up 50 Cent-assisted "Right There."
The up-tempo song "Wet," described as a "party playlist essential" thanks to its throbbing base and electronic beats. It's completely overwhelmed with happiness and joy. The former lead singer of the "Pussycat Dolls" is normally a glamazon, but what's most impressive about Scherzinger is her astounding athletic and acrobatic methods of dancing. She clearly still remembers her complex dance routines from her Pussycat Doll days because she is bending her body in ways we didn't think ws humanely possible.
The 33-year-old entertainer feels like whatever she does tonight will be the talk of the town, since she knows that everyone would like to know how she is going to move her body with water dripping down her neck. The sensual lyrics mirror Scherzinger's physical release against the music as she performs movements that will have viewers feeling like a hundred degrees. She proves that she can startup an erotic fire in the video for "Wet." She does not actually rip her clothes off, but she does get a little wet from sweating while rolling around.
The future "X Factor (US)" judge raises temperatures, gets soaking "Wet" and steams up the Justin Francis directed clip with various belly-baring outfits, sexy dance moves and smoking shower spot. The clip picks up where "Right There" left off with Enrique's former duet partner working up a sweat with choreography that would make the other Pussycat Dolls blush. The video also sees Scherzinger struts her stuff in an abandoned warehouse with only a group of scantily clad friends trying to host an illegal party. We're not complaining. New country duo Attwater is on a roll! After only two weeks in medium rotation on CMT Pure, their debut video "Never Gonna Happen" is already gaining airplay and charting in the fan voted 12-Pack Countdown. "Never Gonna Happen," is the first featured single and video produced by Grammy Award-winning producer, Charlie Peacock, who said "Working with Attwater is hardly work. Being their producer is playtime in a sonic sandbox of creative American music - country, rock, folk, bluegrass. I love it!"
The time has come. All the hard work is paying off. This Sacramento-based band mixes modern country, classic rock and hardly strictly bluegrass as well as any back-roads folk. Erika Attwater and Jonathan Richards, principle members of the band, have country music in their blood. They first caught the attention of Peacock via Twitter. In the first moment of hearing Erika's stellar vocals he knew he had to hear more. Attwater's first single, "Never Gonna Happen," is where we are first introduced to the soul & passion that Erika can sing with. The song is the perfect blend of 70's rock & country soul.
The new single is more rock than country, for sure, but its got a fiddle in it, so can't we make it count? There's definitely a country vibe coming out of "Never Gonna Happen" like Faith Hill did a record with The Charlie Daniels Band in the 70s. Not only is the new duo Attwater sultry, seductive, and sassy, but it this song makes me want to put on a cowboy hat and find a dude to be pissed at. The talented Jeremy Cowart took the reigns for this high-energy, country rock video.
"I wanted to produce (Attwater) because I heard something in Erika's voice that was congruent with where modern country is at but also timeless and passionate like Emmylou (Harris) and Patty Griffin," Peacock said. "Together Erika and Jon (Richards) make a great songwriting team. I wanted to see if I could help them take all of it up several notches." With Peacock's production and his ability to bring in some of the best session players in town, Attwater and Peacock have put together and combined them to create a group of songs that's a breath of fresh air in today's over produced, the fiddle is an afterthought, kind of country.

Nashville singer/songwriter Josh Kelley released the brand-new video for his second single, "Gone Like That," from his debut country album "Georgia Clay," which was autobiographical in nature and captured his coming-of-age experiences in his father's truck in Georgia. The 31-year-old's previous work was more pop, including the 2003 hit "Amazing." This particular single is especially poignant as it played a role in his transition into being a country singer.
This song isn't about a one-night-stand, but about a series of fleeting encounters with the woman who could be the girl of your dreams. Kelley said of the song: "I wrote 'Gone Like That' based on a real-life experience. When I was in college, there was this crazy, amazing girl who I'd see from time to time, but it was always fleeting. Every time, she'd come crash at my place, then the next thing you'd know, she'd be gone. There were like forty clubs in the area, and she'd always show up at the one I was hanging out at. We'd meet up, but then she always seemed to disappear and we never had the time to explore our relationship."
It's a classic collision between desire and better judgment. "Gone Like That," which Kelley co-wrote with Clint Lagerberg and Nicolle Galyon, is special to him because it was the song that convinced him to pursue a country music career, which led to his record deal with MCA Nashville. He wrote the song a few years ago, hoping Keith Urban would cut it. "I was going to Nashville and writing all the time," he says. "I've been writing country songs since I was a kid, but I was trying to get it cut. I wanted a big cut. I promised my wife [actress Katherine Heigl] I'd buy a beach house... I gotta make some cash here!"
After Kelley recorded the demo for "Gone Like That," he sent it to his publisher to shop around. But his publisher refused to pitch the song, instead encouraging Kelley to record it himself and give country music another try. "Next thing you know, I've got a record deal!" the Georgia native explains. "This was the song that actually started my journey into Country music. It was the first song I wrote that gave me the confidence to pursue a career as a Country singer." "Gone Like That" finds him tackling one of country music's favorite themes: Love lost. And for the most part, he tackles it quite effectively.

Australian/British electropop act Lovers Electric, Eden Boucher & David Turley, are back with a music video for their new single, "Beating Like A Drum," the second to be lifted from their forthcoming history inspired studio album, "Impossible Dreams," will be released with Universal on August 12 in Germany.
The Aussie couple from Adelaide, Australia via London, founded the group in 2006. At the beginning of next year, they toured in the United States, playing residencies in New York, Los Angeles and Nashville. A local Nashville website wrote, "Lovers Electric deliver 80s influenced alternative dance pop." MTV used a number of their songs, including "Closer" in the hit TV series "The Hills."
The husband and wife duo, who recently toured with Hurts, and seem to have shunned our shores of late, instead peddling their tunes over in Germany, where they've been putting the final touches on their new album and they are very happy with how it's sounding. They're in the lead-up to the release of their new album "Impossible Dreams" midway through next month. "Our songs are often about a greater concept," Turley explained to Spiegel. "And how perfect the world can be if we all care for one another."
Although a relatively simple affair with just a couple of different location shoots, what we're really digging in this new video for "Beating Like A Drum," is some of the light effects on the lens, giving it an almost other worldly feel. It's all super-slick, Boucher and Turley are looking rather smashing and we can't wait for there to be a little bit of 'Lovers' love in Australia. I love the tension and mood in the song and video. You can sense an urgency.
