Captain Jack Harkness, Gwen Cooper and Ianto Jones return for a brand-new adventure in "Torchwood: Children Of Earth", the 3rd series of the British TV Sci-fi series, to be aired tonight at 9p.m. on BBC America, who is cleverly presenting "Torchwood: Children Of Earth" as a five-mini-consecutive-night event prior to a scheduled DVD release that will come mere days later.At 8:40 London time one morning, every child in the world stops. The five nights of strong acting, humor, drama and writing that's about very high stakes, and that wants to challenge our brains rather than massage them to sleep. This is the best political Science Fiction miniseries of recent years. No US drama would dare push things this far.
