David Guetta Unleashes Bloody For "She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)"

Posted by Kevin Z. Rong Monday, October 1, 2012

David Guetta is back with another video with sweeping nature shots and overall vibe work for his newest emotional track, "She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)," the lead single the re-release of the album, "Nothing But the Beat 2.0," a repackaged edition of Guetta's 2011 album "Nothing But the Beat." It's definitely not the typical French DJ' shot - features a pack of hunters sledding through the arctic in pursuit of wolves, who proceed to 'break them to pieces,' literally. Winter has already arrived for Guetta.
"She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)," is a song about love with dark overtones, and features his collaborator Sia Furler, an Australian emotive singer, who was not in the music video, along with horses, sled dogs and heavily-clothed warriors. Like many Guetta collaborations, this anthem will undoubtedly quickly appear on the night club scene. The house music producer previously teamed up with Australian singer on "Titanium," which became a hit after its release in July this year.
Once again, it's the heartfelt lyrics that shine over the handbag house as Sia confesses: "You hunted me down like a wolf/ I felt like a deer in headlights. You loved me and I froze in time/ Hungry for that flesh of mine/ But I can't compete with a she wolf who has brought me to my knees," Sia sings while the clip shows footage set on a snowy landscape with the same inimitable gusto. The result is nothing we haven't heard already, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Sweeping arctic tundras, grassy vallys, a nail-biter of a chase scene, Guetta and Sia leaves us shattered.
The explicit clip is filled with action-packed footage as it revolves around Eskimos hunters chasing a bleeding wolf, which can transform into a woman, in a northern George R. R. Martin landscape. It starts off with a shot of a naked woman from the back on top of a cliff, then it moves on to a wounded wolf running from a handful of the hunters, and every time they get close enough to shoot an arrow at the wolf, the world begins to fall to pieces. The wolf is supernatural, as it is able to make the hunters "explode" on every breakdown of the song. The canine then transforms back into the naked woman at the end, indicating that she is a werewolf, referring to the song title.
