James Blunt is back in the game full swing this year and keeps it all moving fast in his new music video for his insanely catchy new tune "Heart to Heart," the second cut and the fourth promotional single taken from English singer-songwriter's latest fourth studio album "Moon Landing," which entering the charts at number two, securing his biggest sales figures for seven years. The 39-year-old singer says himself he'll never repeat the success of the song that made his name, 2005's inescapable "You're Beautiful."
Nevertheless, it seems the former soldier turned songwriter can still turn out a tune. "I have written it very much without an audience in mind," Blunt says of his new set. "In many ways this is, perhaps, the album that I would have recorded if my fast album 'Back to Bedlam' hadn't sold in the way that it did." After the success of first single "Bonfire Heart," the often-derided singer has produced a follow-up single to kick off his world tour. "Heart to Heart," is a radio-friendly pop affair that promises to be just as insanely catchy on the ears, was co-written with Daniel Parker and undoubtedly influenced by producer Robopop, making this another traditionally inoffensive Blunt song.
It's clear from its title that Blunt has an affinity for hearts. The track is basically, a private 'heart-to- heart' conversation between two people about their feelings, but in this song it becomes an important personal declaration of loyalty in friendship as well as in love. Of course, Blunt stays true to form by singing again about the uncertainty of being with someone. The lyrics border on being infantile, but are forgiven by the infectious melody. Hooks are plentiful, and smooth the transition from the verses to the choruses. The choruses continue the fun folk-pop, as Blunt re-affirms that despite everything, he sees 'eye to eye, heart to heart' and all is well.
The ear-worm "you and I/won't part until we die" is rhythmically brilliant and simply can't be ignored. "Heart to Heart" may be cornier than the lead single off "Moon Landing," but still has heart as it is quite possibly the most feel-good Blunt track ever. The accompanying video sees Blunt standing in different city sections, performing the track as everything zips by at the speed of a blur and various couples freeze among the crowd. The upbeat, hand clapping, positive track is sure to win more top spots on charts around the world and maybe even pull in a few fans that jumped ship a few years back.

Blunt explained back-story of the video: "Shot throughout Wyoming and Idaho over two days using real characters, and the final scene took place in the car park of a bar, where everyone we'd met on the journey would meet up and we planned to film a wrap party. What we didn't know was that in the bar, a wedding was taking place, and when they saw us arrive, the entire wedding piled out and joined us. I played them all "You’re Beautiful" in the car park on my guitar, with the bride and groom pushed to the front by the 80-strong crowd, and then we lit fires and sparklers, put on 'Bonfire Heart,' and the bride and groom had their first dance to it. So if you think the girl looks happy at the end, you'll know, she's not acting." It's an emotional journey you won't likely forget. So here's to you and your blazing bonfire heart.

British musician James Blunt, best known for his track "You're Beautiful" has released a new video for his newest track "Dangerous," the fifth British single from Blunt's the third studio album "Some Kind of Trouble." We're sure the 37-year-old musician has had his fair share of promiscuous women and he has expressed his feelings about it in his new visual. "The brief was simple: a gorgeous/dangerous girl and just a cameo for James," director Luc Janin explains.
The promo is filmed in a mysterious POV depiction and in the point of view of a lovely lady in red stiletto heels. The mysterious woman takes us through the crowded rooms of a dance hall where beautiful show girls are in costume getting ready for the night, and through the sketchiest of hallways in a seedy burlesque club. Her venture ends when she strolls into a room with a long awaiting guest, and of course, it's Blunt himself. The ending showcases a smidgen of eroticism in a purely artful form that leaves the viewer wanting more.
"Dangerous" is quite good with an uptempo beat backed up by a distinct indie type melody whilst. It starts out as an uplifting key board build up, dropping into a hard hitting track with incredible electro synths and pounding drums that progressively get more and more powerful. This distortion heavy progressive track comprises of women walking around in scanty attire which can be deemed dangerous when viewing this video in a office or school environment. Not his best work but when they mix from mellow to heavy that are definitely worth a listen!
Blunt told The Metro that this song is about the English supermodel Kate Moss. "Yes, she is a dangerous woman," he said. Failing to elaborate the singer cryptically teased; "It's one of those naïve songs full of that teenage energy. That excitement of having someone, that fear and the excitement of the unknown. On the song 'Dangerous,' it feels like a teenager picking up a new instrument and writing something with all of that naive excitement." "Dangerous" is not the first word that springs to mind when you think Blunt, which is probably the reason why he opted to not actually appear in the video until the very end, and then only in silhouette!

Blunt co-wrote "I'll Be Your Man" with Better Than Ezra frontman Kevin Griffin in LA, while mixing "Some Kind of Trouble" last year, with Blunt having to fly back to the UK to record it whilst mixing continued in LA.

The video for "Carry You Home" shows the story of a man travelling to return a photograph belonging to a dead soldier to the soldier's wife. The video was filmed in Dorset, a county in south-west England, and features scenes shot at Wareham railway station, the region around St. Aldhelm's Head, and the twelfth century St. Aldhelm's Chapel. The scene in which the soldier dies was shot at Bovington Camp, where James had been stationed during his service in the British Army; soldiers from the camp participated in the filming.
