The Saturdays have premiered the music video on Chart Show TV for their brand new track, "30 Days," which is rumored to be released as fourth cut on an unconfirmed, upcoming re-release of their third studio album, "On Your Radar." The girl group are expected to debut the new track once band member Una Healy is ready to rejoin the group following the birth of her first child.
The dance-pop tune is the thirteenth single to be released by British-Irish pop girl-group, The Saturdays. The track was co-written and produced by English hitmaker Steve Mac, who previously worked with the five-piece on their songs "Ego," "Notorious" and "My Heart Takes Over." When asked to describe the song in just one word each, the popstars replied with "amazing," "crazy" and "very pop." Explaining the meaning behind the single, Frankie Sandford said: "'30 Days' is about being apart from the person you love and counting down the minutes until you're back together."
The accompanying music video for "30 Days" sees The Saturdays performing the single in a diner. It was shot in February at Starvin' Marvin's Restaurant in West London, and showing the glamorous ladies mainly from above the waist. The making of the video was documented for the MTV broadcast "On Set With The Saturdays," in which The Saturdays give a tour of the set and talk about the plot of the video, with a storyline sees the quintet at a Fifties style diner where they embark on a round of speed-dating.
The video starts off with the girls arriving at an American style diner. They enter the diner intending to have a meal together but then realize they have accidentally walked in on a speed dating night, with a sign on the wall that reads "find your soul mate in 30 dates or less." Vanessa White decides they should give it a go and the girls all sit down separately and are each greeted by several men. Healy showcases her baby bump and Rochelle Wiseman her engagement ring as ways to fend off some of the men they do not approve of. During the final chorus everyone in the diner dances together after the speed dating is over.
