With the announcement of his Epic 3.0 show at Madison Square Garden later this year still reverberating around the tri-state area, Eric Prydz wastes no time in releasing another piece of media to satisfy his always hungry fans. His recent single "Liberate" now gets a summer-ready music video treatment, taking you under the ocean and into the depths of rolling waves. A summer anthem, that was handpicked by BBC radio 1's Zane Lowe as his "Hottest Record In The World," needs a video that suits the euphoric mood, and now the Swedish producer has delivered just that.
One of the kings of house music, the 37-year-old Swede has an enviable knack for writing anthems, and he might just have done it again with this one. Following the classic Prydz sound, "Liberate." has those punchy and clear drums, some encompassing vocals, and an awesome drop that house fans will love. His big room sound, yet distinctive and emotional to the ear, is something unique in the EDM world.
Whenever you lose faith in the progressive house scene, you need to just look towards Prydz for that new beauty. His latest single, "Liberate," has a brilliant sentiment to it: it's emotional, it has a throwback '80s flair to it, but it still works in today's scene. It's bigger than "big drops" or whatever you're looking for, but the emo ravers in the crowd who might shed a tear can get close to this one, trust. We figure you'll be rewinding this one for a bit... soak it all in.
The track comes to life through an underwater video, which spends much of its predominantly time submerged beneath the water as two friends frolic and swim underwater along Jervis Bay on Australia's east coast (where Prydz toured for the first time this year), and the track itself from Prydz has summer hit written all over it. It's guaranteed to make you yearn for a summer vacation. Fans who witnessed Prydz's set at Ultra Music Festival in March will remember the galvanizing effect of "Liberate," and it's been a feature of his sets ever since.

Carly Rae Jepsen falls for a bad boy, again and again, and is sick of the hot and cold relationship with her boy toy in the just released video for her newest single, "Tonight I'm Getting Over You," the fourth single lifted from her sophomore studio album and first international release, "Kiss." Looking to get your groove on this weekend and dance your heartbreak away? Well, find out if the Canadian singer's passionate relationship with her hunky man ends with a happy ending or not.
The song, with instrumentation incorporates two different genres, techno and dubstep, is a club-ready and fist-pumping post-breakup anthem, where Jepsen addresses her feelings, as she gets tired of her ex-boyfriend's lies and broken promises by getting over it and dancing with someone new. The on-again, off-again affair was very much inspired by events in Jepsen's real life. "With this particular song, it was sort of that decision that even though [the relationship] is hot and cold, sometimes you've got to move on," she recently told PEOPLE about track, and she definitely doesn't want ex to call her maybe.

Things start out fine for Jepsen and her hottie love interest in the beginning of the video for the upbeat electro-pop track. The 27-year-old "Call Me Maybe" hitmaker is heating up the screen with her ex man, they're laughing it up, kissing it up, being almost sickeningly cute together, and goofing around and making out in rooftops and bedrooms in the clip. Their romance plays out against the big thumping beat of her song before it turns sour and they slowly grow apart.

But that all changes for some reason. Jepsen's alone, fed up and emo. When she isn't pining for the love she once had, she's kicking him to the curb, just as the song kicks into dance-floor overdrive. Done up in her best punk-inspired gear, Jepsen is pretty torn up over her knit-cap-loving former flame. By the end of the clip, the unexplained tension between the two appears to be gone and they're back to being lovey dovey. The clip is all smiles and food fights until the bass drop, when the not-quite-lovers appear to call it quits.

Ke$ha has premiered an interrogation for "Warrior," a really fun and amazing project she's prepared for the promotion of her just-released sophomore studio album. The singer is held in a jail cell and moved to an interview room, and is interrogated by the Metropolitan Police over her new album "Warrior" in a new promotional clip, as she confirms that her mother is "an alien" and her father is Alice Cooper when asked by a British policeman. Ke$ha later adds that she can "speak dinosaur" and that she "eats glitter" on a daily basis.
Having successful debut album, the self-styled bad girl Ke$ha has decided not to fix what ain't broke. When you need someone to rhyme "saber-toothed tiger" with "warm Budweiser," you know who to call. Thematically, "Warrior," incorporated rock genres and inspired from the music of the 1970s, is intended to be more personal than her previous albums with an overall theme of "magic." As the singer elaborated the album's underlying theme stems around embracing a person's inner warrior.
"I got hypnotized, and I just really wanted this record to be really positive, really raw, really vulnerable and about the magic of life," Ke$ha said. Taken as a whole, this is another surprisingly enjoyable album from a pop singer who has managed to broaden her approach without losing her unique selling point. "Warrior" is the most fully-realized and cohesive pop album since Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream," or Lady Gaga's "The Fame Monster." The difference is that this musical journey feels more authentic. Unlike those fabulous divas, Ke$ha isn't playing a character or channeling an alter-ego. This is her demented diary set to music.
In her recent autobiography, the 25 year-old Nashville native writes about the intense pressure of following up her massively successful debut album. The glitter queen lifted her game and invented her own genre and makes the transformation from electro-pop diva to intergalactic wild child with jaw-dropping ease. "Warrior," is a non-stop aural assault of fresh ideas and new sounds that document the singer's journey from being L.A.'s self-confessed worst waitress to chart-conquering pop titan.

Calvin Harris has released a magnanimous new video for his new energetic jam, "Sweet Nothing," which features the guest vocals from Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine, and is the fifth single feature on the Scottish DJ's upcoming third studio album, "18 Months," which will be released at the end of October, and Harris stated via his Twitter account that it would be "like a compilation album but with me all over it."
This electro-disco dance-hall banger is about a lover who gives such sweet nothing. viewers are introduced to a back story that explains the sad lyrics. The ballad follows the familiar pattern of taking love-strung vocals and layering them over a bouncy, ever-building beat. It's a classic Harris club tune supporting Welch' iconic, quivering vocals. Ironically, Harris' outstanding production beats perfectly pound away as Welch's powerful vocals emotionally help you sail away through the video's emotional story.
Welch never really strains herself, apparently saving her typically athletic singing for tracks that won't primarily be used at dance music festivals. The English songstress adds her throaty vocals to a throbbing dancebeat and delivers more aggressive and animated performance as the beat gets faster and pounds away halfway through the video. The result is propulsive and ear catching, while also providing some series drama. The video is a little cinematic catharsis, directed by Vincent Haycock and was filmed over two days in a Working Men's Club in Dalston, London.
The video rather than depicting the usual fist pumping club scenes took on narrative form, and see this odd pair taking on characters in a downer narrative. It begins with a desolate-looking Harris is sitting in a fast-food restaurant waiting for his food, while Welch Playing the role of an abused woman as a mysterious cross-dressing cabaret singer in a small, dingy, seedy, Serbian nightclub, pouring the pain and frustration of her unfulfilled life and fearful of her future into every revealing and explosive performance, which continues to be artfully intercut with Harris' unfolding situation and eventually it all converges.

The Black Eyed Peas have just premiered their video for their third dance-til-you-drop single "Don't Stop the Party," taken from the quartet's recently released sixth studio album "The Beginning." The new video is giving fans a bird's-eye view of life on the road, and offers behind-the-scenes footage and concert clips from the band's recent tours.
"Don't Stop the Party" is bound to continue the success. Produced by the Los Angeles-based high-energy Damien "DJ Ammo" LeRoy, this hot club jam features Will.i.am rapping in a thick, Caribbean patois. The Black Eyed Peas songwriter told Spin magazine that he is proud enough of the song that he'd even play it for Jay-Z. "I would go to Jay's studio and play this be like 'Boom! Check it out!,' said Will. "Then I go dirty Caribbean on him on the last verse." The song itself is another adventure in high-octane Auto Tune studio wizardry. So if that's what you dig, then by all means, party on!
The Ben Mor-directed video was shot on tour in South America. In the video, the hip hop group uses tour footage from numerous trips overseas to show that folks from every hemisphere are dancing to their grooves. It features highlights even from their 2011 Super Bowl performance. But more than anything, the video shows the euphoria of the fans as the performers entertain the enormous crowds. It is truly amazing to see the bird's eye views of the crowds that attended their shows. The video is like a "breath of fresh air" as it promotes a message of happiness. All the way through, it displays people enjoying the music, the dance, the costumes, the lights and the colors of the event and, as the end of the clip apparently indicates, listening to vinyl.
What could possibly stop The Black Eyed Peas's party? The busy life of the Peas looks like a whirlwind tour of non-stop good times and their career as Energizer bunny-like entertainers is aptly dubbed a "party." The band is clearly looking at "Don't Stop the Party's" video to get this "Party" started instead of giving it a jump start after its radio life is well underway. Resistance to The Black Eyed Peas's party reign is futile. Their joyous club records have not only taken over America, but country by country, the planet.

German-based Eurodance project Novaspace is back this year with a new single called "Don't look back," and the 4th song with Jenny Marsala as vocalist. Originated in 2002 by the record producer Felix Gauder, and it's a big name in eurodance industry, and covered several 1980s hits, such as "Time After Time," "Guardian Angel" and "Beds Are Burning." They have reached the Top 20 in Germany, Austria and Australia.
Sometimes all it takes is covering the right '80s hit single to birth an international Dance hit, and the out-of-this-world dance project did exactly that when they formed in 2002. Marsala was choose after Felix saw her performance on YouTube in 2008. Overwhelmed by her charisma and her unique voice, he immediately engaged her as the new lead vocalist for the planned rebirth of Novaspace. Since then, Marsala stands nearly every weekend live on stage and brings the international Clubs to a boil with her unique stage presence.
Novaspace also celebrates a remarkable success in 2010 with their single "Close Your Eyes" and now, Novaspace introduces their new single "Don't Look Back," which is worth having a look back at the unprecedented and lasting success story of the Dance Pop Duo.
Marsala (she pretty much is Novaspace) released this Britney-esque video for "Don't Look Back" and it's looking pretty tight. The video was directed by Niels Laupert and supported by the fabulous dancers of the New York City Dance School in Stuttgart. Marsala looks and sounds great here. Very catchy song and visually catchy clip as well.

The Black Eyed Peas are back with another blockbuster new video on will.i.am's favorite social networking site Dipdiva for "The Time (Dirty Bit)", also known as "The Time (The Dirty Bit)." This club anthem is the first single lifted from the pop-dance supergroup's sixth studio album, "The Beginning," which hits stores on November 30. will.i.am described the LP on his blog as a sequel to their previous set, The E.N.D., adding it "symbolizes growth, new beginnings and starts a fresh new perspective." Their tracks tend to creep into our brains over time and eventually convert us, so anything's possible.
The song samples the 1987 single "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" from the film "Dirty Dancing." The song features group members will.i.am and Vocalist Fergie singing and rapping over a dance and techno beat. This is the kind of song that would get people in the mood when performed live in a big venue. "It's like you're there with all your friends," will.i.am told Billboard. "You're there in front of 50,000 people and they're there to watch you and your friends. Nothing gets any better than that. It's the best feeling, the best one yet." Fergie added: "The song is a celebration of this amazing time in our lives. We've been on tour all over the world, and looking out at stadiums full of people who came out to see us – that's as big as it gets. After the shows, we go out to the clubs and meet the fans; those are moments that we have to remember."
The Rich Lee-directed video, was shot in Los Angeles last month, stays true to the up-beat mood, showing club scenes as well as a lot of visual effects including fast-moving city life. The video features all four members of the Peas (sometimes their full bodies, and sometimes their face on a screen…on a body) having the time of their life dancing away as half humans and half pixellated digital caricatures throughout the visually-intoxicating short film. They even each get an avatar of themselves that grooves to the dirty bit as well. The not-yet-released Blackberry PlayBook is also heavily featured in the video.
The Black Eyed Peas's journeys through the annals of hip-hop pop are friendly, trendy and, most of all, fun; they manage to come off as both glamorous and accessible. In other words, just about everyone can find something to like about (or at least crib fashion tips from) Fergie, will.I.Am, Apl and Taboo, and their humps, lumps and overall phunkiness. Stutter and echo effects welded to one of the most instantly recognizable songs of the late 1980s played out over a skeletal electronic dance beat is all likely to stick in your mind, and this does. Black Eyed Peas songs are not to be judged on their depth. They are best judged on how they make you feel, and "The Time (Dirty Bit)" does make me feel good.

It's a British up-and-comer Taio Cruz's naughty tune, who teams up with the always misunderstood, Ke$ha, premiered a music video to support his next single "Dirty Picture," which first appeared on his second album "Rokstarr." It's being released in the UK as a single this month, and a new mix of "Dirty Picture" prominently features pop's latest wildcat, Ke$ha on Myspace UK a few days ago! The party animal Ke$ha balances on the the rim of a public bathroom toilet seat in British newcomer Cruz's new "Dirty Picture" video.
"Dirty Picture," a catchy song nonetheless, was produced by Cruz and written by himself and Ke$ha, as the third single comes from Cruz's upcoming second album "Rokstarr," will be released on April 25 digitally and on April 26 physically, and will no doubt be used as the follow up to his US No.1 "Break Your Heart." Although it has been suggested that Cruz originally wanted Lady GaGa on his song "Dirty Picture," Ke$ha makes a suitably filthy replacement. "I went to a meeting with Dr. Luke and he was telling me about this new girl he was working with. She hadn't done 'Tik Tok' or anything like that at that point. But I just thought she sounded really cool. A very unique-sounding voice," Cruz confessed to MTV.
The music video, pretty standard-fare. was shot partly in East London sometime in February. The pair filmed the remaining club scenes in Los Angeles the week beginning in March. "There are some very sexy party scenes though, full of the coolest looking people, and Ke$ha's performance is amazing," Cruz said as quoted by the Daily Star. "There's a scene in a public bathroom and we had to throw in a sports car. I'm driving through the desert for no reason." The clip will be released on April 26 in the UK!
