Posted by Kevin Z. Rong Wednesday, September 30, 2009

The long awaited newest music video for Rob Thomas' latest Single "Someday" just debuted and is premiering right now on VH1.com website. This is such an amazing and inspiring video set on the streets of New York City.
"Someday" is one of the singles appearing in Rob Thomas' sophomore solo studio project "Cradlesong" which has been is stores since June, and made its debut on the US charts at No.3 selling 122,000 copies. The proper magazine article added that "Someday" is a power ballad with a tinkling piano introduction reminiscent of 80's band Damn Yankees. In support of the album, Rob is currently hitting the road, starting from September to February next year. Fans can visit his MySpace to check complete details about his upcoming shows.
The music video is directed by Alan Ferguson and start shooting in July. The video features Rob Thomas and other vocalist of band 'Matchbox 20' wandering through a massive "hope parade" in Manhattan, New York City. "The coolest part was just filming the parade," Rob told Entertainment Weekly about the shooting process. "We had a lot of fans come down, and we dressed them all up and had a bunch of gigantic floats flying around."
Rob Thomas, the lead singer of 'Matchbox 20', is the complete package, charming, hilarious and talented beyond reason. He is also one hell of a live performer. Rob treats his fans to a real show when they come out and see him. Please keep your eyes peeled for promo spots for NBC's new season of "The Biggest Loser." The commercials feature Rob Thomas' "Someday" and will be airing on NBC in the near future!
