Kelis performed the song live for the first time on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' last night, where the singer lit up the night sky with sparks – literally, and the new digital single will be available on July 8 in the UK.The house/pop track "4th of July," produced by DJ Ammo, is an emotive electro-dance track and the follow-up to her first single, "Acapella," hit No.1 on the Billboard Dance Charts.
