Mandy Gawley Sends an Inspiring Message wth "Let it Go" Video

Posted by Kevin Z. Rong Sunday, January 29, 2012

Mandy Gawley has recently released her debut video for "Let It Go" on GMC-TV's Uplifting Country program! The track is taken from Gawley's debut album, "Life So Sweet," which the singer said "It's a little bit country, a little bit pop and a whole lot of heart!"
Gawley, a wife and mother of two, is finally living the dream of singing her own life story with songs about the little things that make life worth living. Born in Georgia, but having grown up mostly in southern California, Gawley's storytelling often takes you down a dirt road to her Grandma's house with the sweet smell of country cooking in the air. If you are looking for a little Southern delight you will find it in Gawley. You can hear in her music all the traditional values of love, faith, and family that make country music so appealing to mass audiences. Clearly those are the things reflected in her own life, yet another reason to appreciate what Gawley has to offer.
Having experienced the death of her father when she was only fifteen, Gawley knows the bitterness of loss and the impact of family. As she writes her songs now about being a wife and mother, she encourages others to be optimistic and never give up on their dreams. "All I remember ever wanting to be when I grew up was a performer, singing for audiences anytime, anywhere. And now, being all grown up, I find great comfort in being able to do just that sing my songs for people who really want to listen to what I have to say. And to encourage others who might've given up on their dreams."
Born out of this labor of love is a poignant and beautiful collection of snapshots from one woman's life and lessons learned along the way' living, dying, letting go, moving on, and loving. After you read a little about her, listen to "Let It Go" in a video as it highlights a popular non-profit organization that brings supports bringing self esteem to young girls. Directed by the Grammy Nominated Mil Cannon, the video was filmed all over the beautiful North Georgia town of Dahlonega. All of the "actors" in the video are friends and family. The song compliments the video so well and simply inspiring.
