Adelitas Way Debut Heartfelt Video For Rock Ballad "Last Stand"

Posted by Kevin Z. Rong Wednesday, March 3, 2010

With an intro that would lead you to believe that you are listening to 3 Doors Down, The Las Vegas-based five-piece hard rock group, Adelitas Way have released their brand new music video for the bands second single, "Last Stand," off of their self-titled eponymous debut album on Yahoo! Music. The song follows up the power-rock anthem "Invincible," which has been tagged as the theme song for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Superstars and has been showcased in the new WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2010 Video Game.
Riding the wave of success since their debut release last year, Las Vegas rockers have been going from strength to strength and looking to increase their name throughout the US. The new single "Last Stand," hits rock radio on February 2, is a heartfelt, radio-ready and rock ballad that allows fans to see the Las Vegas rockers in a different light. The video for "Last Stand" was directed by Paul Boyd, and was filmed at the end of January in LA and features a storyline focusing mainly on founder and lead singer Rick Dejesus.
Sin City rockers's polished, chrome-laden modern rock draws its water from the same angsty, aggro-well as bands like Hinder, Godsmack, Burn Halo, Avenged Sevenfold, and Three Days Grace. The band continue to carve out their own unique path in music after the success of their self titled debut album, which has propelled Adelitas Way into the limelight of the WWE and now Adelitas Way's focus is clearly on the commercial side of success, not the artistic, resulting in what feels more like a calling card than a lightning strike. They are even giving fans the chance to download their brand new single, "Last Stand," for free! Just click here to enter your information and download now! The band is currently on tour with Halestorm and will join Three Days Grace and Chevelle in late March.
